FAMILY HISTORY
Whatever your experience level we can help you explore your roots and uncover the lives of your ancestors.
We will provide you with far more than a family tree. Our years of experience working on shows like Who Do You Think You Are? and A House Through Time provide us with unique skills in finding hidden secrets about your ancestors.
We pride ourselves in building up a full picture of people’s lives using a vast array of sources. Don’t be surprised to find scandals and surprises along the way!
If you’ve already done some research, we can check your family tree, and add to it. Or we can research your family history from scratch, piecing together the lives of your ancestors using online and archived documents.
If you’ve hit a 'brick wall' or are stuck in your research we can help.
We are also very experienced at interpreting military service records and piecing together the stories of men and women whose lives were transformed by the First and Second World wars and other conflicts.
The research can be presented in a simple factual report, or we can produce a more colourful narrative report, illustrated with document images and old photographs. Reports can also be produced as a glossy book which make the perfect gift for a loved one.
We can also use genealogical methods to find living descendants of people who died over 150 years ago. Using forward-tracing we have tracked down descendants of men and women for the BBC series Who Do You Think You Are? and A House Through Time.

PROPERTY HISTORIES
Researching the history of houses or properties can reveal fascinating stories of the past; stories of former residents, architectural details and historical connections to your home.
We offer various property history research services for people who want to learn more about their house’s story.
The research can be tailored to suit your needs, but between 3 and 6 days of research are recommended to investigate the full history of most houses, depending on the age and status of the building.
We won’t just give you a list of names, we’ll use our TV producer and investigative skills to delve deeper into the lives of the people who lived in your property over the centuries. We’re used to finding shocking newspaper articles, military and even asylum records, that build up a rich picture of former residents’ lives.
Where possible we’ll include maps, plans, photographs and census records, to show the evolution of your property and the surrounding area.
Your property's history can also be presented in an attractively-bound book, leaflet or frame.

BESPOKE RESEARCH & FILM PROJECTS
We also offer bespoke research, heritage and filming services to TV production companies, brands, private individuals, and public institutions.
